When an input is unknown, the proposed quantity stays empty. NORTHMAST does not invent a number to fill the gap.

From proposal to received stock
Suppliers, warehouses and purchase orders with their own document, from draft through ordered to received. Receipts, returns and corrections update your Shopify stock and feed back into the next reorder proposal.

Connected data
Commerce and advertising in one picture
Shopify order and inventory data, plus your own Meta Ads and Google Ads accounts if you connect them. Both advertising connections are optional and independent of each other.

A short list of what needs attention
Deviations that matter, each ending in one concrete next step. The Cockpit shows at most three at a time, so the list stays something you can finish.
Signals are deterministic rules with a visible explanation. NORTHMAST does not use AI to generate advice.
Data you can act on
Missing data is shown, not filled in.
This is the part most tools leave out. A profit figure built on missing cost data looks exactly like a correct one — until you act on it. NORTHMAST would rather show you the hole than paper over it.

Missing costs are shown, not invented
When an item sold has no cost per item for the period you are looking at, profit and margin are marked as incomplete. NORTHMAST does not substitute a store average or any other stand-in figure.

Missing connections are named
The Cockpit states which connections and syncs are behind — an advertising platform that is not connected, a synchronisation that has not run — so you know what a figure does not yet contain.

Calculations stop rather than guess
When amounts cannot be verified to be in a single currency, the affected figures are withheld instead of being converted on an assumption.

How it works
Four steps, then a daily habit.

Connect your Shopify store
NORTHMAST installs as an embedded Shopify app and reads your orders, refunds, products and stock. Reporting and planning only read; Shopify is updated when you deliberately carry out an action that requires it.

Configure costs and advertising connections
Enter product costs, shipping rates and operating costs, and optionally connect Meta Ads and Google Ads. Both connections are independent, and the app works without either of them.

NORTHMAST organises and calculates the data
Synchronisation runs on a daily schedule and can be triggered manually. Amounts in other currencies are converted using published daily exchange rates.

Review the Cockpit and act on what needs attention
Open the Cockpit for the state of the business, check which figures are complete, and work through the signals that came out of them.
